R. Perry Pinder

Perry Pinder is a Chartered Professional Accountant of Canada (CPA) and is a member of the Bahamas Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA). Perry began his career in 1980 in Public Accounting working as an auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) in Nassau, Bahamas. He was employed for a total of seven years with PWC; two of those years were spent in Paris France. He branched out into the Private Investment Banking and Fund Administration industries in the late 1980’s and 1990’s both in Canada and in the Bahamas where he worked in a number of capacities ranging from Controller to Senior Fund Manager. In 2004 Perry left the Financial sector and transitioned into the Family bleach manufacturing business; Blanco Chemicals Limited, where he has since served as Chief Financial Officer.

In 2013 when the Bahamas light Industries Development Council (BLIDC) was re-activated, Perry believing in the need for the Manufacturing sector to have a united voice, became interested and signed on as Director and is currently serving as the Council’s Treasurer.

Perry’s interest include politics, taxation systems, traveling, swimming, cycling and entertaining.
